within the GHYRAF (Gravity and Hydrology in Africa) project.

Gravity: data acquisition with absolute (FG5) and relative (CG5) gravity meters.

Hydrology: Infiltrometry, drillings, hydrological monitoring (neutron probes, water table levels).

Geodesy: DGPS and leveling.

 

Internship as Geophysical Engineer (IRD):

Modeling the poroelastic effects of underground flows around the Bagara station (near Diffa -east Niger).

Transient hydrodynamic modeling (ModFlow). Modeling the clay swelling behavior and its influence on gravity records. Hydrogeology. Field work: setting up of water table measurement devices and data acquisition protocols in remote areas.

 

Internship as MSc in Geophysics (EOST):

Towards detection and high resolution location of regional earthquakes using continuous waveforms.

Object-oriented programming of automatic picking algorithms of seismic phases on pre-located events with a continuous waveform correlation approach. Seismology.

 

 Internship as MSc in Geophysics (C.U.):

High frequency image analysis for the study of energy transfers during grain crushing experiments. Application to debris flows. Energy budget computation and image analysis.

 

 Internship as MSc in Geophysics (INECOL):

GIS mapping and study of a 10 km3 landslide in the La Concepcion valley, Xalapa, Mexico.

 

 Internship as MSc in Geophysics (KUIC):

Risk study on a potential GLOF (Glacial Lake Outburst Flood) in a touristic valley in Nepal: application to the Imja glacial lake in the Khumbu area.
